The number 33 is connected to a promise or the promises of God. The 33rd time Noah’s name is used in Scripture is when God makes a special covenant or promise with him. The Eternal promises to not destroy the entire world again with a flood and seals His pledge with the sign of the rainbow (Genesis 9:12 – 16).
The 33rd time Abraham’s name is used in the Bible is when Isaac, the child of promise, is born to him when he is ninety-nine years old (Genesis 21:1 – 2).
Thirty-three also derives some of its meaning from the total number of times ‘three’ or ‘third’ is used in the book of Revelation. Because it is the product of 3 times 11 it can represent God’s judgment. Thus, Revelation illustrates God’s complete, final judgment of the world, which is ultimately accomplished in the final three-and-one-half year (1,260 days) period leading up to the second coming of Jesus Christ.

The divine name of God, Elohim (Strong’s Concordance #H 430), is initially mentioned in the very first verse of Genesis 1. Elohim appears 33 times in Genesis’ story of creation. Thirty-three is also the numeric equivalent of the word AMEN.

In Freemasonry, the highest order is the 33 degree of the Scottish rite. The Scottish Rite within Freemasonry was established in 1801 with the formation of the Mother Supreme Council at Charleston, South Carolina. Perhaps it was no accident that Charleston was the birthplace of the Scottish Rite, being situated just 15 miles south of the 33rd parallel.
The United Nations – may also find significance in the number 33. Take a look at the UN flag and you’ll see a world globe divided into 33 sections, encircled by olive branches. Coincidence, or is there some deeper meaning?
Or, are the so-called “Powers That Be” orchestrating events to coincide with certain numbers considered in esoteric circles to be influential, powerful, or even magical?

Isn’t it interesting that the final “Battle of Armageddon” will be fought on the 33rd Degree Parallel? Thus, the final “battle”, or slaughter of the ages, will be fought on the 33rd Degree Parallel!

Jesus having begun his three-year ministry at about the age of 30 (Luke 3:23), must have died on the cross and rose again at the age of 33. The Catholic Italian poet Dante Alighieri (1265-1321) divided his Divine Comedy into 100 Cantos: one Canto for the introduction, 33 Cantos for the Inferno, 33 Cantos for the Purgatorio, and 33 Cantos for the Paradiso. – Year 2589 – 2566 BC. The Great Pyramid was built in Egypt at a location not far south of 30 degrees latitude, and on 31 degrees longitude. How the Great Pyramid was built is unknown. Herodotus estimated that it would have taken 30 years and 100,000 slaves.

Tel Megiddo: One of the most important archaeological mounds , Tel Megiddo has the remains of historic Megiddo, a fortified city that sat strategically on the ancient trunk road from Egypt to Syria and Mesopotamia. Near the 33rd Parallel, Tel Megiddo has served as an important junction and battlefield throughout history. Excavations have uncovered the ruins of 25 cities dating from 4,000 to 400 B.C. Ruined structures, now visible, belong to the fortified “chariot city” built by King Solomon in the 10th century B.C. An ancient water system, dating from the 9th century B.C., is well preserved. It is a phenomenal piece of engineering which has a big shaft, sunk 120 feet through rock, meeting a tunnel cut more than 200 feet to a spring outside the city. The spring was hidden by a wall and camouflaged by a covering of earth.

– On August 6, 1945 at 8:15 a.m. United States B-29 bomber Enola Gay, on Mission No. 13, dropped an atomic bomb called “Little Boy” on Hiroshima, Japan near the 33rd Parallel. This was “Day One” of a new age, the Nuclear Age.

– 1963: The Kennedy Assassination ; JFK Sr. was shot from the front and killed in Dealey Plaza in Dallas, Texas near the 33rd Parallel on 11/22/63 (11 + 22 = 33). Dealey Plaza is the site of the first masonic temple in Dallas.
