Although great progress has been made in many viruses treatment using antiretroviral therapy (ART), infection with AIDS virus, and now the Covid -19 viruses remains a major cause of mortality in the world.

You can ask your dietitian and your doctor about wide range of tables with food that are high with Iron.

This is my hypothesis or the relationship between Iron, Zinc, Copper ,Vitamine C and the Covid-19. But of course you have to ask your doctor first along with your pharmacist before you stop or taken more than required of any of those minerals and Vitamins.

Scientists have been telling us that Iron is essential for many cellular processes, but an increase in its levels leads to oxidative stress. In particular, high serum iron levels are associated with increased oxidative stress in HIV-infected men, and possibly those people with Hepatitis C.

So is it possible that the same thing happen with Covid-19 virus? This Virus may not like Zinc and Copper why I ask? It must alter the Iron absorption, especially with Zinc.

The role of iron in bacterial and fungal infections is well established however; changes in cellular or systemic iron after those viruses infection are not well understood. It is known that anemia is associated with worse outcomes in HIV infection, because it takes lots of the Iron from the infected person .So is it possible that the same scenario will be seen with Covid virus?

Iron overload is very bad for the live, and it is also implicated as a risk factor for rapid progression of the disease. Observational studies prior to the introduction of ART demonstrated that patients with iron overload due to genetic polymorphisms had a more rapid progression of HIV infection and other infections. To me that’s mean a possibility of worsening with Covid -19 , of course this need to be proven by scientific study, this is just a hypothesis at this time.

lower Iron levels were observed in immunosuppressed ,the HIV-positive patients with an interruption of ART, and cessation of ART exacerbated microcytic anemia in a parvovirus B19- and HIV-positive β-thalassemia patient. That might be a point to research with covid-19 and hepatitis viruses; it is just an idea that makes sense.

Copper is essential for absorbing iron from the gut. When copper levels are low, the body may absorb less iron.and As we know that this virus love Iron , so is it possible that people with high Copper ,or those who eats food that have high Copper are faster to get infected with Covid-19? But when you have a low Copper this can cause iron deficiency anemia, a condition in which the body is unable to carry enough oxygen to its tissues. So every thing must be in balance . Vitamine B9 ( folic acid), and B 12 are also important to help the body to get rid of Anemia .Those vitamins are important and have not mush side effects.

High-Iron Consumption is dangerous ,it can damage your liver, Impairs Growth and Causes Copper-Deficiency Anemia, the iron will feed certain viruses. So again study is need it to find the relationship between Covid-19 and Iron /Copper.

Vitamin C, also known as ascorbic acid, is a water-soluble vitamin thought to increase the absorption of nonheme iron. Vitamin C acts as a reducing agent to facilitate iron absorption from the GI tract and to enable its mobilization from storage. Again Does Vitamine C helps Covid-virus , may be other team should study this effect too?

Scientists indicates that the use of iron supplements in women with marginal iron status improves iron indices with no effect on zinc status. So to me this is more likely that Covid-19 virus corona do not like this mineral as it is not helpful for him .

However, use of a modest zinc supplement improves zinc indices, but also appears to induce a cellular iron deficiency and, possibly, further reduce iron status. So here it is again another possibility that Covid will hate this mineral , ZINC the mortal enemy for his corona and cellular structure.

FOOD WITH COPPER

But be careful as too much zinc can have many side effects. The presence of zinc in the diet affects various aspects of cell-mediated immunity, including expression of interleukin-2 and interferon-γ. Interleukin-2 stimulates generation of natural killer and cytolytic T cells that kill viruses, bacteria, and tumor cells. Interferon-γ and interleukin-2 together activate macrophage monocytes that kill parasites.

Zinc also suppresses ICAM-1, which serves as a receptor for viruses, and inhibits the protease from HIV type 1 . In conclusion Doctors , scientists , lab scientist and pharmacologist, nutritionists should make a joint effort to study the effect of those mineral on reducing the activity of Covid -19 , Iron-Copper-Vitamins C in one side , and Zinc on the side.
