Possession, Addiction & Change

The leader of Dubai once said, “Change or you will be changed “life must go on with or without you as the aim and goal is the common good of all communities to live in peace and harmony.”

During these current, unsettling times, natural disasters, earthquakes, disease and death addiction has become a source of serious anguish for lots of people both in terms of their own psyche and spirit attachment.

Addiction is often the result of the subconscious tendency of the mind to repeat what is pleasurable or to escape from what is unpleasant.

In and of it, this function of the mind is not a problem, and can assist us in pursuing goals that are good, beneficial, and desirable.

The trick is the ability to recognize our own thoughts and emotional patterns. If we know what we are thinking at any given moment in our lives, then we will be aware of whether the thoughts we indulge in will bring us beneficial or harmful consequences.

Therefore, striving for our own good and the good of other people (in that exact order) will lead us to a positive place in every area of our lives, relationships, finances, health, career, etc.

However, the tendencies to fall habitually into behaviors that are destructive are quite prevalent in our chaotic world. Therefore, it is important to consider our own thought process in terms of whether the consequences of a particular way of thinking will bring beneficial or detrimental results.

When we consider whether you should have a cigarette, you should think carefully about what it does to your mind and body and where it will ultimately lead you.

My brother Sam passed away at age 49 as he was a chain smoker, he smoked 60 cigarettes a day/ 3 pack, and he suffered with chronic lung problem and then a major heart attack, the last one killed him back in 2001.

Cigarettes killed my brother Sam at age 49 and not God. God gave us a choice to and if we decide to jump from a bridge and kill ourselves it is not God to blame.

Nicotine affects the body in many ways, and this effect can be pleasant at first. Nicotine stimulates the nervous system, increases heart rate and blood pressure, and many people claim that smoking calms them down. Just like Sex addiction, and alcohol, they release endorphins, bringing a temporary feeling of relaxation, pleasure, and sometimes euphoria. The same is true of any kind of drug, and even some food.

When we don’t want to acknowledge or consider the negative consequences that result from addiction (such as health, relationships, financial hardships, etc.), our mind will encourage us to partake in another dose of “good” and we will give into this impulse instantly. Each successive dose will produce weaker and weaker results, and we will soon discover that only by increasing the dosage we achieve the desired result of feeling better.

And here arises a very important issue: we begin to think that we need something to feel better. This something can be anything: alcohol, sexual gratification, work, food, shopping, pills, love, and many other substances and activities to which you will become addicted, and sometimes that includes anger, hate, aggression, seductive behaviour, thefts, torture, oppression, and even murder, all to gain control, power, fame, money, and recognition.

And from there the mind will activate all its machinery and create a new reality for us, in which we set up our lives so that we have access to more and more pleasures. Included in the category of pleasure are all kinds of escapes that lead to addiction, for example drinking alcohol to forget about problems or becoming a workaholic.

A person that is in control of their own thought process would not have brought themselves to this state. They would have already asked themselves, where is this behavior leading me? They would understand that intense gratification would most likely lead to destructive behaviors that result from addiction.

If someone has fallen habitually into the desire to follow the wrong kind of pleasure, the external things, unfortunately, there is also another, much larger problem at stake. There are a vast number of people who have died before us who had the same kind of addiction that many of us are suffering from right at this moment. These souls now reside in the astral world.

The astral world (also referred to as the astral realm or the astral plane) is a plane of existence where souls reside after their physical death, but they are unable to fulfill their own cravings and desires because the substances they used while living were physical in nature. Instead, they exist on a higher vibrational plane, the astral plane.

No alt text provided for this image

There are no alcohol, drugs, or cigarettes on the astral plane, and as a result of this, the inability to fulfill a craving causes great suffering for these spirits.

If you are addicted to a substance like tobacco, ask yourself what it would be like to not smoke a cigarette when you crave it, and then imagine that you will never smoke a cigarette again. This will give you some, though incomplete, idea of the kind of torment that people who have died with any form of addiction will experience.

If they didn’t pray and worship God and then they found the reality after death, they would suffer and feel so sorry that they wasted their lives without acknowledging God.

Be aware that people who pass away feel cravings in a magnified manner because they no longer have a physical body that in some ways, blocks the intensity of the craving.

When a physical body is no longer present, the craving can even feel a thousand times stronger. I hope this will give you enough motivation to free yourself from all destructive habits or even addictions while you are still alive, so that you will not have to suffer when you no longer have a physical body.

Spirits suffer because they cannot obtain what they are addicted to, and this will directly affect the living that struggle with any kind of addiction. If you don’t worship God the spirit will find it so hard to face the light, just like a schoolboy who didn’t do his/ her homework, then the exam date arrives, and they face their teachers with empty papers and empty brains.

If you have an addiction of any kind, you will attract spirits that suffered the same addiction. When you are under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or are immersed in activities like over-working or over-spending, it is rather easy for spirits to attach themselves to you, because at that moment of weakness, you don’t have full control over your physical body.

To make matters worse, the spirit will intensify your desire to fulfill the addiction. The astral world accumulates and magnifies all the cravings produced collectively by humanity, so you get some idea of how powerful these energies are to a spirit trapped in the astral plane. When a spirit influences a person with such powerful cravings, the possessed person has no way to oppose this craving, they will give in.

No alt text provided for this image

The spirit does this in order to fulfill their craving, but it is only an illusion of its fulfillment. Hence, the spirit will always remain hungry, and will always push to have the living satisfy their craving again and again.

At this point, the possessed addict begins to go to extremes to satisfy their addiction, resulting in highly destructive and dangerous behavior. They no longer have control over themselves and will do anything to feed their addiction. Freedom from such destructive behavior can only be achieved by undergoing a process of spirit removal.

When spirits are removed, this will cause the spirit’s strong desires to break away from us. However, this doesn’t completely solve our problem. A person that is possessed will have to work on their own psyche.

No alt text provided for this image

They will still have to overcome their own cravings, which have built up in their own emotional body. This is much smaller in comparison to the spirits’ craving, but it still exists and must be addressed. After all, this is what led them to addiction in the first place.

If you find yourself attracted to any form of addiction, you must try a very effective method in order to stop this cycle of destruction. Let’s suppose that a glass of wine improves your mood. When drinking wine, enjoy it as much as possible. Pay special attention to the taste, aroma, smell, and how the wine stimulates your body and psyche. Observe these senses even if you have a second glass, third, or the entire bottle of wine.

What happens to you? What sensations do you have and how does your perception change? Does it give you exclusive pleasure and joy, or do certain tendencies emerge that you would rather avoid? Observe all desires as well as the undesirable effects. Awareness always leads to freedom, because the moment you look at your own suffering, it gives you the motivation to change what does not serve you.

No alt text provided for this image

In every addiction, there is a great amount of suffering, you just have to face it and not run away from the awareness of that suffering. I hope this will give you the motivation to free yourself from all destructive habits resulting from addiction while you are still alive, so that you will not have to suffer when you no longer have a physical body.

To meet great pure spirits after death you need to be like them, so if you want to be with the pure spirits and among those spirits who you admire you need to be in the same vibration and goodness, so your spirit body is not attached to the negative energies that you left behind in the physical world.

Is it possible to learn a positive lesson from every negative person in your life?

Yes, we can if we are careful not to follow their footsteps and tactics, it is also possible that we can learn a lesson from them and accept the world for what it is and find refuge in self-improvement.

The holy books of Abrahamic faith (JUDIA, and Islam) from both Ishmael and Isaac’s sons, they teach you and guide you to trust in one God and work in peace, begin the morning with worship and prayers and depend on God alone.

You will meet many arrogant people, the ungrateful, the liars and despiteful, envious, the jealous people, the greedy, and those who are full of the seven deadly sins. You will meet them and work with them, those bullies and those who cover the sun with their clouds of darkened personalities.

You have to tell yourself that all these things happened to those evil people because of their ignorance. Just the devil who was one of the best entities of light that God had created, then he fell from God Grace due to his arrogance, pride and ignorance to God’s command.

God will never change you until you decide to change yourself and ask GOD TO STRENGTHEN YOU AND GUIDE YOU, then he can change you and the community with you if he decides to do the same.

You must work on your own nature to change and be positive by following the steps of being comfortable with yourself and showing respect, kindness and compassion to other human beings.

It is healthy to compete and be successful to trade and invest as God wants to see his blessing shown on his people. We must take some time to reflect on what happened around us, what Covid and other viruses are doing to the fabric of our society and our relationships.

Learn from the negative lessons from each of these relationships with your friends and family members and try to learn and ask yourself why? And what can I do to change that and how?

No alt text provided for this image

Try to learn from those feelings, how to correct them and find the reason behind them, without falling into the addiction of lust, hate, anger, and aggression.

We are all born in a natural state of balance, harmony and goodness, but then parents, relatives, friends and the society around us start to brainwash us and feed us superstitious and old tales away from the holy books and just stories from their cultural beliefs and not what God teaches us.

They started to teach us the culture of hate and war if they live in one, or culture of greed and money is the number one factor if their life was based on that.

If there is no balance in my opinion there will be no good civilization. If the society we create is based on greed, money, and temptation to gain more and more it will lead to destruction sooner or later, as that can bring with it envy and jealousy from others and riots, and destruction will follow.

No alt text provided for this image

If we do not apply kindness and respect, help others to bring them to a balanced state with good leadership they will fall behind and later they will haunt us with their destructive force of hate.

Some people can teach you kindness and mercy, some can teach you leadership and just, some can teach you strength and how to be hopeful, some can teach you modesty and help you to understand the value of being a balanced person, love the truth and justice and avoid oppression of others, and if you among those people , you rest assured that your spirit afterlife will follow the same patron.

I went throw allot in Baghdad- and saw my father torture in the political prison, saw wars and hates firsthand, saw my house burned and my brother killed, and saw the destruction of my country.

It created so much hate in my heart against those who destroyed the country, against the terrorists and other corrupt thieves and thugs in the Iraqi government that ruled Iraq until now. It affected my life as hate started to consume me, you can see it in my face when I see one of those evil people.

No alt text provided for this image

I started to have all these thoughts against them, nightmares, and a sense of revenge to get even, but my heart prevented me from falling into this devil trap.

It is easy in life to become transfixed on how we have been wronged and how we were hurt and tortured and how we were neglected by the leaders and those thugs.

Now I think what good does it bring me to keep hate in my heart, sure it gives me some satisfaction, and I wish that the U.S will destroy Iran once after all, as they destroyed, killed and raped so many Iraqi women and children.

What good does it bring me, I ask myself? To hold these negative feelings against those bullies, I know justice must prevail, but I can’t change the past. And it is not fair to my future to bring the negativity of the past to it.

Does it resolve anything I ask myself? Maybe, if we get rid of those evil countries that support terrorists the rest of humanity can be at ease and balanced.

I am working on removing these negative thoughts so I can survive as a balanced human being and remove these negative feelings that make me miserable when I see the world of chaos around me from Iran, Iraq, Hezbollah, and all the terrorists who back them and funded them.

Every time I start to heal myself and learn self-improvement of getting rid of negative feeling, some new evil come along in this earth and ruin it for me. The evil always starts trouble and he never sleeps, he loves chaos and that is what I call wars, illness, national against nation, terrorists and negative people, they are the devil tool.

One of the learning steps I do is to thank God for the blessing he gave me, counting my blessings and focus on the good things and see how others got worse situations, died, lost their families and jobs in the natural disasters, Disease, famine, and wars.

I am always grateful and Thank God for the good family and friends, as they provide us with emotional support and encouragement.

It is a life lesson, I always used to get so bitter over things that I lost like my parents who died because of the war, or for the loss of my brother in the hand of the evil Iranians who killed him to steal his car, or the destruction of our house that burned to the ground by the Iraqi militia, and US bombs.

I cried out loud to God and screamed WHY. Why my family and why do this to us, why took my parents away, why took my beautiful cat Smokey away, why death? Why are those people dying in the earthquakes and wars?

Of course, I wasn’t mad at God, I just did not want to accept the fact that all life and death belong to him, he granted and can take it any time, and that to test our faith, and to teach that this life doesn’t last forever.

I get bitter for the loss of my job due to Covid and the reduction of my hours and income, I get bitter because I didn’t and still don’t accept the loss and don’t accept the fact that nothing in life can last forever. This virus, wars, earthquakes taught me a lot and still does.

I know life is temporarily and don’t last forever, but it doesn’t have to be full of hardship. I know that joy and desire will never last, and I know that I should live a life with less hate, less anger, and take life less seriously and learn from each process, and that I have to accept change as its part of life. So, it will be less of a burden on me in the afterlife.

Change is part of life, and the nature of the world goes hand in hand with change. We will never succeed if we resist the change and if we do, we will fall behind and stay in our primitive life. If we fight the change, we always be unhappy, unsatisfied, and as they say life starts at the end of your comfort zone.

We can change what is within our own power as we can fight the force of nature, everything will die and that only God will stand alone at the end.

I cried for my parents, my house, my country and the loss of my cat because I love them, I don’t want to lose them so soon, and didn’t understand the wisdom behind it.

Now all I have to do is to accept what God gave and took, the destiny of life and death, to forget and forgive, to let go and keep moving. It is not that easy, but I must try, and start somehow.

Once I used to have a very nice modest theatre play in Baghdad, the government took it away and closed me down. They stole my art collection of paint and calligraphy, as they did before to my father and his arts. I learn to let go and move on, without the inner hate or external control of desires, resentments, and greed.

We must understand the nature of the world, and learn to live in a society, among different people, and to face the daily encounters and trials that life naturally brings.

We must understand that today won’t last, and the significance of our trials in the chaotic world around us is like a grain of sand in the infinite expanse of time. We must not move forward and expect love, while we are carrying the hate and anger of the past.

Our short time on this earth will always be a rollercoaster with ups and down. Our life will be full of those negative people and annoying individuals who always point fingers and not the facts if we allow ourselves to be annoyed by them.

Don’t try to change them, show them how to become kind and show them good leadership because you cannot change them by force, they must do it on their own terms and paste. They are people like us, and they do make mistakes, some got the justice they deserve, and some are waiting for it.

I remember King KONG the big Gorilla who was on an isolated island away from human greed and lust for power and money, he fell in love with a beautiful human being he loved because she was kind and fun, made him happy and gave him the feeling of being loved.

No alt text provided for this image

So, he defended her while the human greed was after him to make money and make fun of him. When the human who didn’t understand the love between the beauty and the beast, they killed him while he was defending the beautiful lady.

Even an ape knows that the value of living is in love, family and to be in peace with yourself and others, to protect those who you love. Isolation might create a breed of evil doers but also can bring a change if we reach out to those who are different and bring them to the mainstream.

Ask yourself where the Roman Empire, French and Spanish empire, Magnolia Empire, and the Persian Empire are? Those were the evil empires who once ruled the earth with their evil forces.

Where are the pharos, Napoleon, Stalin, Hitler, and all other evil on this earth? They are all gone, leaving their bad memories in the garbage of history books. So, if you want to be in the book of life you must change for good, and don’t get attached too much to the earthly pleasure.

By Dr.Saad Al-Hashimi, PhD

Greeting from Calgary, Alberta - Canada. My name is Saad Ramzi Al-Hashimi . I am the founder and the director of the Paranormal zone- Haunting Dimensions. That deals with an investigation, debunking, and healing/cleansing. Having had many unexplainable experiences from a young age at a possible "haunted" house where plenty of things seemed to happen that I couldn’t explain, Since that time and I am looking and searching for an answer. After continuing to have many experiences that I just cannot explain, I have since become a firm believer that GHOSTS do exist. I continued for a short while as a member of a few other paranormal groups until I was very fortunate to become involved with a local fast growing organization where I felt very comfortable to start my own paranormal investigation. My best experience has been Indio California, Okotoks Alberta, Baghdad city , and many other places in Greece and North Canada. (yes I do believe spirits can hurt you so you have to be careful not to provoke or challenge a spirit ). I won’t tell you the whole story now but you are more than welcome to ask me on a ghost hunt. I am now looking forward to meeting many more people, all looking for that ‘experience’ that could possibly convince them that there is something more to life than we first thought. So please feel free to email me drsteveramsey@gmail.com I have been involved in several paranormal groups over the years. Paranormal Adventures is different and exciting in ways I couldn’t possibly get before. When people ask if I believe in ghosts, I say I am a skeptical believer. I have had many encounters with spirit forms and believe what I have seen to be real and unexplainable. I always look for a normal mundane reason why at the same time. My area of expertise in the field of science. I have Ph.D. in Public Health from the USA, Master degree in Medical Ultrasound and BSc Degree in Diagnostic Imaging from Charles Sturt University Australia, BSc in Physics, and Radiology diploma from Iraq, Pharmacy diploma. Radiography diploma from London Ontario, Diploma in Natural Health from Quebec, Canada. Radiation physics from Australia, I studied the infra and ultrasound in the animal kingdom.P resented more than 20 lectures in Iraq, Greece, Germany, South Korea, Japan, Canada and I am the peer reviewer for the radiographer journal in UK, Netherlands, and South Africa. Earned the 3rd award for excellence in ultrasound - Canada 2005. I am also armature archaeologist, painter, calligrapher, and used to run acting theater play in Iraq- Baghdad, wrote, directed and acted in more than 27 plays. So debunking come naturally in my science and technology back round, and not like other debunking people around you who use Google for their search and call them self-debunkers, It doesn't work that way. In the near future, I will run live internet ghost hunts with night vision cameras giving users at home the chance to watch the spooky footage on, in my nights out. I look forward to seeing you all soon on one of our many events! I loved reading ghost stories and sitting on my own in the dark watching horror films. However. I Can decode dreams, and I see spirits in my dreams. I like to look at things from a scientific point of view and try to rule out all rational possibilities before concluding that events are paranormal. However, I do try to keep an open mind on all investigations. I started taking part in investigations since 1986; my first investigation usually any house, apartment that I move in or my friend's places. For many of my true paranormal stories you can read them at www.linkedin.com I will try to copy and move all my articles here in this site in near future. Thank you for reading and God Bless you all.
