I love this story and I wanted to write a simple sequel, as I used to put a message in a bottle.

and tossed the bottles in the water in Greece, Singapore, Vancouver,

Saskatoon, London Ontario, and in California.

Message in a Bottle is the second romance novel written by American author

Nicholas Sparks. The story, which explores the romance theme of love after grief,

is set in the mid-late 1990s, then-contemporary Wilmington, North Carolina the

1999 film Message in a bottle, produced and acted/ started by Kevin Costner

Divorced and disillusioned about romantic relationships, A journalist

Theresa Osborne was jogging when she found a bottle on the beach. Inside was

a letter of love and belonging to “Catherine,” signed simply “Garrett.”

Challenged by the mystery and pulled by emotions she doesn’t fully understand,

Theresa begins a search for this man that will change her life.

What happens to her is unexpected, perhaps miraculous-an encounter that embraces

all our hopes for finding someone special, for having a true and strong love that is

timeless and everlasting. Touched by the warmth of the words in the letter

Theresa embarked on a mission that would change her life forever.

She discovers two other letters written by the same author and for the same recipient

and goes to Wilmington to find this mysterious writer at the urging of Deanna,

a close friend. It doesn’t take long for her to find Garrett, the mysterious writer.

Chemistry gradually grows between the two as they start dating. However,

with the passage of time, the two are confronted with the reality of one of them

having to change his/her life in order for them to be together. One night,

the two have a confrontation about this issue that doesn’t end well.

Even worse, Garrett discovers his letters in Theresa’s drawer. Angry at what he

deemed as deception and an affair founded on lies, Garrett storms out of

Theresa’s apartment, taking with him his letters. Back at Wilmington, he tries to get

over the issue by sharing with his father Jeb, who instead thinks Garrett mishandled the whole situation.

Jeb receives a visitor that same day, a young woman whom he believes to be Theresa.

Garret and Theresa argue, with Theresa giving up the relationship citing that she

could never compete with Catherine. A grieving Theresa heads back to Boston to move on with life.

A few days later, Theresa received a surprise call comes from Jeb in Wilmington telling

her to come right away. The heartbreak of Garrett’s death confronted her in

Wilmington. On that fateful day, Garrett had set sail on the Happenstance to drop one

last message to Catherine, but he ran into a storm that leads to his drowning.

The movie didn’t show us the exact moment of death or did he lost or may be survived?

Theresa has trouble getting back to her life afterward until she receives an unexpected

package in the mail. Before his death, Garrett wrote a message to her in a bottle, asking for

her forgiveness and offering to move to Boston for her. Theresa replies with her own

letter of forgiveness which she throws off the sea affirming her love for Garrett.

Nicholas Charles Sparks (born December 31, 1965) is an American novelist,
screenwriter, and film producer. He has published twenty-three novels,
all New York Times bestsellers, and two works of non-fiction, with over
115 million copies sold worldwide in more than 50 languages

In a conference Nicholas Sparks held in a school, he said that this story was inspired

by his parents, now I was so sad and upset at the ending of this novel, the story and

the movie ending. I refused to accept the ending until this day since I saw the movie.

I saw that movie 10 times, and I read the book 3 times.

Kevin Costner should produce and started a sequel of the movie as the final end to

put a closure to someone like me and many others who loved that story.

I will put it in this way….as he jumped to save the Chinese boat lady after saving

her husband and her daughter to his strong boat, they went under the waves as

the last images showed us, but they were drifted away from the boat and they

managed to hang on some of the floating debris from the old broken boat.

The waves kept sweep them away until they couldn’t be seen; they struggled

in the water to survive, the wave swept them in a small island.

But while Garrett was saving the poor lady a rock hits his head close the shore

and the poor lady then managed to pull him to safety all the way back

as he saved her life, now she will take care of him.

Garrett lost his memory due to the head injury, (temporarily memory lost).

The old lady managed after hardship to bring him back in this island and he

woke up without a memory. Depending on this lady who he saved without remembering the detail.

They started to make every effort to survive by fishing, and finding ways

to go back to the mainland for help.

The poor lady name was Theresa the same name of the journalist who loved Garrett,

but he didn’t know. After suffering of an injury on the island,

Theresa the poor lady die. Garrett buried her and carved her name

on a piece of wood and put it on her grave.

Day after day Garrett started collecting some of the items washed on the shore

that he can used and helped him to survive, in the same times some items

started helping his memory to comeback slowly.

One Item Garrett found on the shore was the message in a bottle, the last

message that the journalist Theresa tossed in the water, he got the bottle and

started to read and struggled to remember, with Images in his mind,

he was struggling to connect the dots of the loss memory.

Day after day Garrett fully recovered and he knows what had happened after 120 days.

Now Garrett wants to go back to the mainland, with many failed attempts by carving

a boat from the wood, but the waves were stronger than his boat and kept washing him

back to the island . He kept the bottle close to him all the time and the letter in it was his daily journal.

Garrett managed to make fire by using the mirror that the poor lady had with her.

Garrett then lighted a large tree on fire to attract attention and it works he was

spotted by a trade ship and rescued back to the main land.

The news spread like a fire on radio and TV. The mainland was shocked and happy

to see Garrett had survived, and miracle can happen. Garrett is now backing to

his home and his father were in a hospital broken hearted. Garrett enters

the hospital and they hugged each other in dramatic unbelievable moment’s

after a few days his father was out of the hospital.

The local church was talking about Garrett courage and used him as an example of

strength and courage, and that God can bring miracle to this town, and to anybody life if they have the faith.

Garrett met the police, the Chinese man and his daughter and told them where

he buried the poor lady in the island so the police can bring her body back to

the town and they managed to make a proper burial for her. The Chinese community

made Garrett a hero after saving this poor family and almost lost his life for them.

The news reaches Theresa the journalist now the love of his life. She couldn’t believe it

and she left an important meeting yet again to go back to Garrett in his town.

The chief editor was shocked and surprise, as he was trying to win her heart,

but he understands that her true love to Garrett is unshakable.

The chief editors offered to drive Theresa to the town, and in the way close

to Garrett home the chief editor gave Theresa the diamond ring and asked her

to not waste any time, and to marry Garrett, he gave her the ring as a gift. Then he drove away back.

Theresa walked anxiously to Garrett house, and he heard her footstep and they

both ran toward each other hugging and kissing each other patiently.

After she heard his story and how he lost his memory and lost hope until he received

the last message in a bottle from her by pure chance, they both cried silently

holding hands looking at the sky and they slept on each other shoulders after they

finished the last glass of wine. Theresa put the wine in the bottle that contained the message for celebration.

After a few days, the town made the largest party for them, and wedding

took place at the local church it was the greatest wedding that town ever had, for Theresa and Garrett.

Theresa managed to write the story from begging to the end and she named her book

((love in a bottle) the story of love, strength, sacrifice, and surviving.

The book was a best seller, and made her and the town more famous, as tourists and

book lovers came to the town for Autograph. Theresa moved to town with Garrett,

and called it home with her daughter, Theresa started to learn painting,

and cherished each day with Garrett, She also managed to be the Chief Editor in the town newspaper.

After few months, Kevin father was so happy about the outcome;

he was walking by his house, then sat on the chair front of his house, and passed away

at the sunset. He had a bottle in his hand with one message in it.

The message read (No matter what- never give up, never surrender,

and never step away from responsibility, love concurs all)).

Greeting from Calgary, Alberta - Canada. My name is Saad Ramzi Al-Hashimi . I am the founder and the director of the Paranormal zone- Haunting Dimensions. That deals with an investigation, debunking, and healing/cleansing. Having had many unexplainable experiences from a young age at a possible "haunted" house where plenty of things seemed to happen that I couldn’t explain, Since that time and I am looking and searching for an answer. After continuing to have many experiences that I just cannot explain, I have since become a firm believer that GHOSTS do exist. I continued for a short while as a member of a few other paranormal groups until I was very fortunate to become involved with a local fast growing organization where I felt very comfortable to start my own paranormal investigation. My best experience has been Indio California, Okotoks Alberta, Baghdad city , and many other places in Greece and North Canada. (yes I do believe spirits can hurt you so you have to be careful not to provoke or challenge a spirit ). I won’t tell you the whole story now but you are more than welcome to ask me on a ghost hunt. I am now looking forward to meeting many more people, all looking for that ‘experience’ that could possibly convince them that there is something more to life than we first thought. So please feel free to email me drsteveramsey@gmail.com I have been involved in several paranormal groups over the years. Paranormal Adventures is different and exciting in ways I couldn’t possibly get before. When people ask if I believe in ghosts, I say I am a skeptical believer. I have had many encounters with spirit forms and believe what I have seen to be real and unexplainable. I always look for a normal mundane reason why at the same time. My area of expertise in the field of science. I have Ph.D. in Public Health from the USA, Master degree in Medical Ultrasound and BSc Degree in Diagnostic Imaging from Charles Sturt University Australia, BSc in Physics, and Radiology diploma from Iraq, Pharmacy diploma. Radiography diploma from London Ontario, Diploma in Natural Health from Quebec, Canada. Radiation physics from Australia, I studied the infra and ultrasound in the animal kingdom.P resented more than 20 lectures in Iraq, Greece, Germany, South Korea, Japan, Canada and I am the peer reviewer for the radiographer journal in UK, Netherlands, and South Africa. Earned the 3rd award for excellence in ultrasound - Canada 2005. I am also armature archaeologist, painter, calligrapher, and used to run acting theater play in Iraq- Baghdad, wrote, directed and acted in more than 27 plays. So debunking come naturally in my science and technology back round, and not like other debunking people around you who use Google for their search and call them self-debunkers, It doesn't work that way. In the near future, I will run live internet ghost hunts with night vision cameras giving users at home the chance to watch the spooky footage on, in my nights out. I look forward to seeing you all soon on one of our many events! I loved reading ghost stories and sitting on my own in the dark watching horror films. However. I Can decode dreams, and I see spirits in my dreams. I like to look at things from a scientific point of view and try to rule out all rational possibilities before concluding that events are paranormal. However, I do try to keep an open mind on all investigations. I started taking part in investigations since 1986; my first investigation usually any house, apartment that I move in or my friend's places. For many of my true paranormal stories you can read them at www.linkedin.com I will try to copy and move all my articles here in this site in near future. Thank you for reading and God Bless you all.
