Desire Causes suffering because desire can involve a wide range of negative emotions, suffering is almost self-evident. Desire can put you in a constant state of anxiety about the desired thing and then lead to frustration if it’s not fulfilled.

What are your hidden desires? What do you dream about even before you go to sleep? Do you, like most people, doubt whether they’ll even ever come true? Or have you long since given up on your desires, certain there’s no chance in the world they could possibly be realized?

Our desires are incredibly important. They’re the driving force of our lives, pushing us to grow and inspiring us to create. Without desires, our lives would be empty and stagnant.

Desire takes many forms ranging from mild wanting to an obsessive craving.

It can, among others, manifest as; Envy, Unger, Obsession, Control, Clinging, Hoarding, Exaggeration, Over –ambition, possessiveness, greed, jealousy, selfishness, lust, and attachment.

In our universe, everything constantly expands and improves. Plants and animals, even planets are always evolving, just as humans are. This is what creation is all about: to change and adopt continuous forward-moving progress.

If you don’t want to change and only want to maintain the status quo then you automatically go backward, because the rest of the universe is moving ever forward. This can seem a bit frightening, because you may pressure yourself to get the most out of life and to achieve as much as possible.

You could also start competing with other people, to potentially boost self-esteem through your achievements. But this isn’t why we have to fulfill our desires.

Positive Desires are divine. They come from God. God created you, God lives in you, and it is through you that God also desires to expand this Divinity.

Therefore, if the thought of a particular desire arises in you, know that this desire doesn’t only come from you. There’s a much greater power behind it. While negative desire such as greed, lust, control is the influence of the Devil in your life to make you suffer at the end.

On a very fundamental level, we need to experience various types of suffering. Suffering while walking in God’s way and in faith with God is not only functional, it serves the greater good! The roots of suffering are grounded in our evolutionary heritage. Suffering motivates us to move away from things which can cause us harm whereas pleasure and happiness help us move toward things that are good for us. Suffering is a trial and test by God to see if you steadfast and keep the faith.

The foundation of our desires should be love. Ideally, fulfillment of our desires should also benefit other people or the world generally. This is what great people who are very successful always do. The basis of their desire is first of all, to bring more benefit to humanity.

They don’t look at how much they may gain from it themselves; what matters to them is how much humanity will gain or advance from their actions. This is precisely why they’re able to achieve such great success: their selfless service to humanity causes the whole universe to support them.

I stop crying for my cat Mahera who died 2 days ago, because I think now she is away from pain and suffering , her spirit is with God who created her and she is free soul, I was sad and crying because I was attached to her and her memories, worried about her, and didn’t want to lose her. But I realized that everything has an end, and I must let it go. Only God is the one who stays and never dies. So I keep praying to him about those who passed away and one day I will join them.

Let’s say you desire to earn more money. This is a wonderful desire! With more earnings you can provide your children with a better quality of life, and take them on great trips; or you can support charities, buy a new house, get a degree, or help a friend who needs assistance.

Notice how many people will benefit if you realize your desire for higher earnings. So don’t just think about stuffing your own pockets and being the only one who’ll benefit from all that money. Open your heart to give to the world, and you’ll see the world repay you a hundredfold.

In my life I desired to leave my country to work and support my family in Iraq. God helped me to do that and with some suffering I traveled ,learned a new language, learned new skills, work and study and passed exams, and focused on the dream. I managed to help not only myself but my parents and all my 11 sisters and brothers for almost 30 years.

The final step in the emotional progression occurs when all of a person’s passions, personal ambition, the pursuit of pleasure, the need for prestige, the preoccupation with profit become melded into one flaming passion that sears the heart. Some philosophers called this singular passion devotion. In the mystical tradition, devotion leads to the discovery of the self.

Simply put, as we move from having countless desires, to having many, to having few, to having one, and as we move from emotion to passion to devotion, we discover who we really are, and what really matters to us.

My desire is to learn farming so when I retire I want to teach house farming everywhere in every single house and place, if all people on earth plant one tomato, one tree, one carrot, one corn etc they will be enough to give to those who are in need and we can use them. You don’t have to have a lot of land to farm or depend on the government but it is a duty for each human to plant something.

Our desires exist to be fulfilled, and should be. Unfulfilled desires cause us to become sad, bitter, and angry throughout our lives, and can easily make us decide to not cross over to the other side, after death. Such a spirit with unfulfilled desires will roam among the living and seek a person through whom it may finally fulfill them. Therefore, the time for choosing and fulfilling your desires is right now, in this life, so when you go you don’t have to look behind.

The reason desire causes suffering is because attachments are transient and loss is inevitable. Buddhism says that the only constant in the universe is change, and by desire you are trying to control and make something fixed.

Suffering will follow because you are going against the forces of the universe, which is what causes anxiety, depression and negative emotions. The key is then to reduce our suffering to embrace the impermanence of life

If you have a strong desire that you’ve been dreaming about for a long time, but you’re filled with doubt or fear, then know that these negative emotions are unfounded. desires are divine, and divinity will guide you to fulfillment if you let it. The hardest thing is taking that first step: to believe with all your being your desires will come true. To put it even better: we must believe and deeply feel this with as much certainty as if they’ve already been fulfilled. Jesus summed this up wonderfully by saying, “According to your faith, it will be given to you.”

Greeting from Calgary, Alberta - Canada. My name is Saad Ramzi Al-Hashimi . I am the founder and the director of the Paranormal zone- Haunting Dimensions. That deals with an investigation, debunking, and healing/cleansing. Having had many unexplainable experiences from a young age at a possible "haunted" house where plenty of things seemed to happen that I couldn’t explain, Since that time and I am looking and searching for an answer. After continuing to have many experiences that I just cannot explain, I have since become a firm believer that GHOSTS do exist. I continued for a short while as a member of a few other paranormal groups until I was very fortunate to become involved with a local fast growing organization where I felt very comfortable to start my own paranormal investigation. My best experience has been Indio California, Okotoks Alberta, Baghdad city , and many other places in Greece and North Canada. (yes I do believe spirits can hurt you so you have to be careful not to provoke or challenge a spirit ). I won’t tell you the whole story now but you are more than welcome to ask me on a ghost hunt. I am now looking forward to meeting many more people, all looking for that ‘experience’ that could possibly convince them that there is something more to life than we first thought. So please feel free to email me drsteveramsey@gmail.com I have been involved in several paranormal groups over the years. Paranormal Adventures is different and exciting in ways I couldn’t possibly get before. When people ask if I believe in ghosts, I say I am a skeptical believer. I have had many encounters with spirit forms and believe what I have seen to be real and unexplainable. I always look for a normal mundane reason why at the same time. My area of expertise in the field of science. I have Ph.D. in Public Health from the USA, Master degree in Medical Ultrasound and BSc Degree in Diagnostic Imaging from Charles Sturt University Australia, BSc in Physics, and Radiology diploma from Iraq, Pharmacy diploma. Radiography diploma from London Ontario, Diploma in Natural Health from Quebec, Canada. Radiation physics from Australia, I studied the infra and ultrasound in the animal kingdom.P resented more than 20 lectures in Iraq, Greece, Germany, South Korea, Japan, Canada and I am the peer reviewer for the radiographer journal in UK, Netherlands, and South Africa. Earned the 3rd award for excellence in ultrasound - Canada 2005. I am also armature archaeologist, painter, calligrapher, and used to run acting theater play in Iraq- Baghdad, wrote, directed and acted in more than 27 plays. So debunking come naturally in my science and technology back round, and not like other debunking people around you who use Google for their search and call them self-debunkers, It doesn't work that way. In the near future, I will run live internet ghost hunts with night vision cameras giving users at home the chance to watch the spooky footage on, in my nights out. I look forward to seeing you all soon on one of our many events! I loved reading ghost stories and sitting on my own in the dark watching horror films. However. I Can decode dreams, and I see spirits in my dreams. I like to look at things from a scientific point of view and try to rule out all rational possibilities before concluding that events are paranormal. However, I do try to keep an open mind on all investigations. I started taking part in investigations since 1986; my first investigation usually any house, apartment that I move in or my friend's places. For many of my true paranormal stories you can read them at www.linkedin.com I will try to copy and move all my articles here in this site in near future. Thank you for reading and God Bless you all.
