Life, the Soul, our mind, and consciousness

A Stone has a single unit, water has 2 unit, Fire has three units of life. Air has four units of life. Space has five units of life. Trees have six units of life. Animals have seven units of life. Human beings have eight units of life. Prophets and men of God have 9 units of life, and even more it depends on the daily worship to God and love of God and the degree of faith for God in them.

When we die we become more powerful in some way. We go between nine and ten units of life. This is strange, but true. The Quran mentioned that when we die we can see clearly, be more wise and certain and wishes to go back and undo the bad things we done in our life.

The moment your body is dead, the spirit has become free, without boundaries, and nothing can stop it. The spirit moves around freely. If it is bound in the body, you have only eight units of life, you can only reach out to some. When you have nine units, you have a little more power, but if you die, then you have access to the ninth and tenth units, so you gain much more access to the planet. More faith and worship to God you had and more love to him more blessing you will get to your soul and more ability to see the truth.

The spirit, freed from the limited body, can know; can cognize; can ask God to bless us and guide us. We can feel their presence sometimes. So when you pray to them, they can grant you certain wisdom and warning and it could be in form of a dream. They are able to bestow unto you to whatever extent they are powerful.

Our mind is just a projection of our soul.  It is like the dream is the shadow of the sleep. Sure there are lots of chemical process involve in our sleep and the dream, so it is the case with the mind and the soul.

Soul is your whole consciousness, the life force in you. God is the only one who give it, take it and know it and no one else does.

The part of it which is listening to me right now, which is asking the question, which is thinking and analyzing g we call it the mind.

So if your mind is elsewhere, though I’m speaking and the words are falling into your ear drums, still you don’t get it because the mind is elsewhere. So it’s through the mind that we see, smell, taste, hear, and experience the sense of touch. That is what the mind is. It is all that chemical process.

The mind has another function which we call intellect. As I’m speaking, something in you is saying, “Yes, I agree”, or, “No, I don’t agree with this”. There is something in you who is accepting and rejecting, judging and accommodating that is the intellect.

There are 10 layers to our existence:

1- Before we created God knows we will be, that stage I call it before creation

2- The Body and the embryological forms as God taught us in the Quran and different stages

3- Our breath

4- Our mind with the conscious and unconscious mind, emotion

 5-Our intellect

6- Our memory

 7- Our ego

8- The Qareens (the entity within the human body) as mentioned in the Quran some call it guardian angel, some call it the self, and it is always different than the body and the soul.

9- The time, the linear dimension in this earth

10- Our soul.

See, we keep breathing but many of us don’t even know that we are breathing unless we have an asthma attack or some problem. We don’t realize how important it is for us to breathe deeply.

There is something in you that doesn’t change, which is the reference point for all changes. Your thoughts are changing, your emotions are changing, and your body has undergone so much change.

We change in time, we age, that non-changing aspect in you, or the reference by which you recognize the changes so to say ‘this is changing’, there should be something that doesn’t change, and that is what the soul is, also the Qareens.

Worship and prayers (Salat) to God is the journey from movement to stillness, from sound to silence. Salat is translates as relationship in Arabic, the relationship between you and God in vertical way from your soul to him, while you mind and body do the horizontal action and other action of thinking and reading.

The need to worship one God only  is present in every human being because it is a natural tendency of human life to look for a joy that doesn’t diminish, a love that doesn’t distort or turn into negative emotions, the sense of belonging to one God and not to stone, a cow, idol, jesus , human, or trinity .it is only from God and to God and Only one God.

We have been worshiping God before we were born. You were in your mother’s womb doing nothing. You didn’t even have to chew your food , it was fed directly into your belly and you were there happily floating in the fluid, turning and kicking, sometimes here and something there, but most of the time happily floating there. God was and still in control.

So there is a natural tendency in every human being, in every soul, to crave for that state when you are in absolute comfort. And getting back to that state which you have had a taste of, just before entering the hustle bustle of this world is very natural because in this universe everything is cyclic, everything wants to go back to its source. The universe is expanding and running and until now scientists don’t know where are everything is running to? ALOO

They and we are all running toward the source, the creator, the one and only one source all under his control, around his throne, the almighty God himself.

When the autumn season comes, the leaves fall and go back to the soil and nature has its own way to recycle them ,to give back to eh tree some minerals.

The natural tendency to recycle all that we have collected in day to day life as impressions, getting rid of them and getting back to the original state that we were in when we came on this planet is what meditation is. Becoming fresh and alive again is what worship is.

Getting back to that serenity which is your original nature is worship. Absolute joy and happiness is worship. Pleasure minus excitement is worship (Salat). A thrill without anxiety is worship and prayers. A love without hatred or any of its opposite values is worshiping one God.

Worshiping one God is food for the soul. When you are hungry, spontaneously you go to eat something. If you are thirsty, you want to drink some water. In the same way, the soul yearns to worship the one who created her.and this tendency is in everyone.

That is why I say, there is not a single individual on this planet who is not a seeker. It’s just that they don’t recognize it. The problem is that we try to look for that food where it is not available. It is like going to a grocery shop when you want to fill gas in your car. You keep going round and round the grocery store saying, “I want gas for my car.” It won’t work, because you need to go to the petrol station. So, that right direction needs to be found. Worshiping God happens in transition

Worshiping one God is uplifting the energy and mind and spreading it out. The happiness during the prayers has been associated with a sense of expansion been in the Kingdom of God, expanding our soul to escape the flesh and be in God hands.

The devil is promises you nothing, inflects you with sadness, poverty, despair, anger, depression, anxiety and make you feel miserable, that has been associated with a sense of shrinking or contraction.

There is something in you that expand when you are happy and contracts when you are unhappy. But we never pay attention to what is contracting and expanding. We only keep our attention outside. We have not paid attention to the reason.

We live most of our life through states of consciousness: like waking, dreaming and sleeping, and so on

In the waking state of consciousness, we experience the world through the five senses. We seek elevation and joy from these senses. If any one of the senses is missing, the entire dimension of that sense is lost. The mind is higher than the senses. The mind is infinite, its desires are many, but the capacity of the senses to enjoy is limited. Greed is wanting more and more of sensory objects. Even though one can only enjoy a limited amount during a lifetime, one wants all the wealth in the world.

Giving too much importance to sensory objects leads to greed; giving too much importance to the senses leads to lust; and giving too much importance to the mind and its desires leads to delusion.

We hold on to the concepts of the mind and want things to happen in a certain way. Thus, the concepts in our mind impede us from perceiving the infinite consciousness that is a part of us. This is not to say that the senses or the mind are bad. But we must learn to discriminate between things and be aware of what is happening at all times; that is when clarity dawns on us. This is the first step toward the higher state of consciousness.

In the waking state, one is constantly engaged in looking, eating, working, etc. The other extreme is the sleeping state where one is completely cut off and dull. The dullness and heaviness linger even after waking. The more one sleeps, the duller one feels since a lot of energy is expended in sleep. Then there is the dreaming state where one is neither asleep nor awake. Here, you neither feel at rest nor are aware of your surroundings.

Worship (Salat) it prevents stress from entering the system and simultaneously releases accumulated stress. With the assimilation of Salat into daily life, a higher state of consciousness called spiritual consciousness dawns within us. Spiritual consciousness perceives the whole universe as part of oneself. When we perceive the world as a part of us, love flows strongly between the world and us. Between God and us this relationship is called SALAT, came from the Arabic word Sela means relationship.

This love empowers us to overcome the opposing forces and the disturbances in life. Anger and disappointments become fleeting emotions that occur momentarily and then vanish. The devil and all bad and negative entities will be as far as they can from you as you are closer to the living light of God.

A higher state of consciousness will not simply happen one fine morning. The sapling of consciousness is within you it needs to be nurtured through spiritual practices like daily prayers and worship, reading the word of God and helping the unfortunate and work to help yourself and your family.

In daily worship and prayers you will become strong yet soft a delicate and beautiful individual capable of accommodating different values in life without any conditions. As your consciousness opens and the whole system gets physically, mentally and spiritually elevated, your life truly becomes worth living.

Life has a very unique ability to heal and develop itself. The potentiality that consciousness has is amazing. That consciousness which has so much power to keep the orderliness in all of creation, the intelligence that knows how tall each stem should be and where to be green and where to be yellow.

One seed sprouts and the seed has the whole structure of how the plant will develop – what should be hard, what is soft, and what should be the inside. The entire structure of a plant is present in every seed. In the same way, the DNA contained in every cell of our body contains the whole program of our being.

Affecting a change at the level of the seed can affect a change in the whole stem, the whole flower, the entirety of the plant. Affecting a change at the level of our being, the very core of our consciousness, means what? We have to get back to the source, the sap. We have to get back to the seed. That source is our consciousness, our mind. From there exists infinite potentiality to control the body, its resistance, its power, everything.

Each cell in our body is surrounded by a layer of consciousness, chemical substance that can be activated by other hormone and enzymes that will be produced when we are in different stage of happiness and worship. It is like cloud of energy. When this cloud of energy, or consciousness, is vital, happy, pure, and free of stresses, it can penetrate into the DNA cells and clear those cells revitalize the cells. Science can’t prove that yet, as we do not know nothing about the soul and how it works in the old days we call this miracle of healing.

That is why exercise daily and get more oxygen in the body can help the sick cell even more.

Health can be regained by attending to the source of the mind, the consciousness because pure consciousness is pure love. And love is the highest healer on the planet, it is the highest power.
