Spirit do have good and bad smell, the faithful and good spirits smell very pleasant when the angel take them and the corrupt sinful spirit smell very bad to them .We human do not smell that as they are in the Barzakh divided curtain between our dimension and the other world.

Although they are good to keep around reminding us of our higher power and creator they are only objects, many are made in India, china and sold in dollar stores etc. Some might come from the Holy Land or whatever country it has been made in, they are still only objects and cannot communicate with these ghosts or entities. Holy water and water that God name was recited on it might have temporarily effect, like salt and candles as the evil entities hates clean places or freshness and good smell but without true faith in your heart these objects will not work
The major key to resolve any issue in life is communication. This is the same on how to get rid of ghosts or bad tenant, Also, the same for how to get rid of demons. Burning sage cannot remove a ghost, but can help calm energy in the area and but not remove strong energies and definitely not spirits or entities. Think about getting rid of a mirage with burning sage, it is not possible. Salt also is known as sodium chloride is thought to be a traditional cleanser that can kill living bacteria, but cannot remove something that is not alive.
I have read many false informing articles online that you sprinkle some salt all around your home and in the carpet and vacuum it up and your problem is over and your home is cleaned from spirits and entities, again all these steps of cleansing work with the strong faith and the power of the words and to give a good reason why the entity must leave , many times they don’t and the person in the house will leave the house at the end. Spirits do not feel pity on you if you asked them to leave rudely or impolitely. Most important at the foundation of this problem is to do your research and feel comfortable with your decision. Don’t let anyone pressure you into anything.
