List of Jinn Types
The Jinn or djinn (also Jinn or genies, Arabic: الجن al-Jinn, singular الجني al-Jinnī) are spiritual creatures in Islam and Arabic folklore. They are mentioned in the Qur’an and other Islamic texts and inhabit an unseen world in dimensions beyond the visible universe of humans.
Throughout Arabian lore, there are different types of jinn; although the Qur’an mentions only three: Marid, ‘Ifrit, and Jinn. Other names include jann, ghoul, shaitans, hinn, nasnas, shiqq, si’lat, and a host of others. The names above vary depending on the region in the Middle Eastern country. Some of the best-known jinn are:

especially travelers, children or corpses stolen out of graves. The oldest references to ghul in Arabian lore are found in The Book of 1001 Nights. There are several types of ghoul. The most feared is a female type (ghula) which has the ability to appear as a normal, mortal woman. According to lore, such a creature marries an unsuspecting man, who becomes her prey. The ghoul are nocturnal creatures who inhabit graveyards, ruins and other lonely places. Sometimes they are described as dead humans who sleep for long periods in secret graves, then awake, rise and feast on both the living and the dead. Ghoul also personify the unknown terrors held by the desert.
In Persian lore the ghul has the legs of a donkey and the horns of a goat.

‘Ifrit from from Muḥammad al-Qazwīnī‘s “Marvels of Things Created and Miraculous Aspects of Things Existing”
The ‘ifrit (variation: afrit) is cited only once in the Qur’an, in reference to a djinni who fetched the throne of the Queen of Sheba at the command of King Solomon. In lore, it is evil and powerful, and difficult to control. The Ifrits are in a class of infernal Jinn noted for their strength and cunning. An ifrit is an enormous winged creature of fire, either male or female, who lives underground and frequents ruins. Ifrits live in a society structured along ancient Arab tribal lines, complete with kings, tribes and clans. They generally marry one another, but they can also marry humans.
While ordinary weapons and forces have no power over them, they are susceptible to magic, which humans can use to kill them or to capture and enslave them.[citation needed] As with the jinn, an ifrit may be either a believer or an unbeliever, good or evil, but it is most often depicted as a wicked and ruthless being.

They are the enemies of the ghoul.Sometimes they protect humanThroughout history, the Jann have protected armies they deem as righteous, while impeding those they deem unworthy. The entire course of history is affected when they help a side. As a result, many events vital to Islamic history have been attributed to the Jann. The holy boo of Quran mentioned them that in heaven there will be female that are virgin never been touched by human or jann. So this is indirect indication that they might couplate with human in earth ,its very rare but they could and that bring them back to the time of the watchers from NOAH time.

In Arabic folklore and common mythology, a Marid (Arabic: مارد mārid), is a large and powerful jinn. Marids are mentioned in pre-Islamic Arabian mythology and inside the One Thousand and One Nights alongside the Jinn in the story of The Fisherman and the Jinni. The term marid is still used in Arabic to refer to giants.
Mythology
Marids are often described as the most powerful type of jinn, having especially great powers. They are the most proud as well. Like every jinn, they have free will yet could be compelled to perform chores. According to folklore, they also have the ability to grant wishes to mortals, but that usually requires battle, imprisonment, rituals, or just a great deal of flattery. The bahamaut , the giant fish in the Quran, is an example of a non-humanoid form of this particular Jinn.

like and animal-like forms, and may account for some of our encounters with mysterious creatures. It is described in The Book
of 1001 Nights as a half- human being, that is, it has half a head, half a body, one arm, one leg. It hops about on its single leg. The nasnas was said to be the offspring of a shiqq (see below) and a human being.
Also, in Somali folklore there is a creature called “xunguruuf” “Hungruf” which resembles the “nasnās” as it has the same characteristics and features. It’s believed it can kill a person by just touching them and the person would be fleshless in mere seconds.

In Islam the Devil is known as Iblīs (Arabic: إبليس, plural: ابالسة abālisah) ,LUCIFER, or Shayṭān (Arabic: شيطان, plural: شياطين shayāṭīn). In Islam Iblis is a jinn who refused to bow to Adam (ʾĀdam). The primary characteristic of the Devil, besides hubris, is that he has no power other than the power to cast evil suggestions into the chests of men, women, and jinn, although the Quran does mention appointing jinn to assist those who are far from God in a general context. “We made the evil ones friends (only) to those without faith.”
The shaitan (shaytan) is a rebellious, malevolent djinni associated with demonic forces HE IS ALSO leader of the falling angels , angels that created by God from his light who decided to join the devil legion those also demonic forces have lost their wings and they are different from the Jinn as those who are created from Fire but they do have different faith and many Jinn hate the devil.

The si’lat are expert shape-shifters and the smartest of the djinn. They can mimic human appearance with ease. They could be a misinterpretation of a Mongolian warrior.Sometimes they call them selawa , or sewlowa , or the jin witch .
Biggest weapon against bad jinn is water , it doesn’t have to be holy water , just water by reading prayers on it, it can be stronger
if a holy man do the reading and if u can add salt to it, and it will be even powerful if it was rain water.
using words of the name of God and the word Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Rahim
by saying it they leave us alone. That’s why muslim uses the water cleansing before salat 5 times a day to cleanse not just the body
but to add a spiritual protection against the the bad jinn and demons.
During night is jinn life that is why the faith healer in the old days don’t like people to go out after sunset or walking in the desert alone. the r jinn are active at that time, at night, dark places, caves, vallies, desert, and mountains anywhere with no human around .
Demons and bad Jinn like to live in places that are not clean, such as bathroom, garbage sites, dark dirt places, so extra prayers always advised when you enter these places , Try to clean your place, let the light in, fresh water, no clutter , reading from holy books helps .
The jinn can attached to you more than demons, they can attack you more than demons. It can cause you destress, anger, depression without medical cause or mental cause, they can cause you aggression and have so many psychological problem that can lead you to see doctor and psychologists for treatment and destroy your life, and even commit suicide.
There are 3 kinds: normal jinn, mu’min (believer) jinn and ifrit. The Mu’min/ good jinn are easy to work out. But ifreet the bad jinn can harm you for simple thing like using water at night to wash your place , the floor, the garden etc and if it happened that any of that jinn were around and the water fall on them they will get angry at you and never leave you alone until you recite prayers.
اعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم اعود بالله من الخبث و الخبائث
“Audhu billah min ash-shaytan ir-rajeem Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Rahim Audhu billah min al-khubthi wal-khabaa’ith.” So she killed [one of its family] and it came and possessed her.
One of The most strong prayer is to recite Naqshbandi silsila. This is special prayer that was mentioned by the prophet himself passed to the muslim people against the bad Jinn. At the start of reciting the jinn might get angry and upset and you might hear loud voices , broken windows, and other disturbances, and the bad Jinn will become more and more wild, attacking, and more aggressive.
Those bad jnn can shake you , attack you ,make you sick and ill, but keep reading the prayers until they become weak , if the jinn comes out of one person he might enter the weakest person in the room , that’s why you must keep all the children and pets out of the room.
Then read the ROQEYA , SPECIAL PRAYERS FROM THE QURAN CALLED THE prayers against evil , that can burn them and let them out of any place .
The Jinn are social they do live in groups. and the very bad ones live like a pack of dogs ,legions.
In any case they live in stations, like police stations. In groups or communities, kampongs, villages; all in one house together. If you harm by mistake one, all of them come against you, they come and attack you . The only way to get rid of them by praying and recite the roqia , always ask for permission when you enter an empty house or cave, valley or desert , graveyard , or lonely dark place always mentioned that your are passing by and mean no harm please let me go in peace in the name of almighty God , I DONT HARM YOU AND I DONT NEED TO BE HARMED BY YOU , THEN RECITES THE WORDS OF GOD.
So now you see that people’s children at certain age they become bipolar, the doctors say it is a split personality, it is true in some cases, but many cases it is a spiritual attack when medication dont seem to help, What do they do [to solve this]? They give them tablets to keep them half-sleeping. It is fine if they do have a medical problem to solve it but it is not really clear for so many of those who hear voices and they are not psychotic or have any severe anxieties.
So jinn travel in groups and they live in stations. They will not disturb you, you will not see them. You can live with them. As long as you give them an alert they don’t bother. That is why the Prophet (s) taught us to say: prayer in the name of God every where you go, mention God name .
اعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
بسم الله الذي لا يضر مع اسمه شيء في الأرض ولا في السماء وهو السميع العليم
So whenever we come home we read it, whenever we go out we read it. At night, before we sleep we recite 3 Qul huwAllahu ahad, 3 Qul Audhu bi rabbil falaq, 3 Qul Audhu bi rabbin-naas, Ayat al-Kursee, one Fatihah blow on yourself on the children and on the
whole house then sleep.
May God protect us all from the evil one, lucifer, falling angels, bad jinn, demonic entities, black magic, and all that negative
